How we process data.

We only collect what is necessary to organize offers, receive cause proposals, and support participants with care. Nasij functions as a facilitator, not a service provider.

Nasij acts as a connector, linking contributors and respondents around a shared cause.

Nasij connects contributors and respondents who wish to exchange acts of creativity and care for a shared cause.

The agreement, or thread of trust, is established directly between the contributor and the respondent.

Responsibility for the quality, safety, and delivery of an offered practice lies with the contributor.

Nasij can offer ethical mediation in case of disputes, but does not assume legal liability for the exchange itself.

Contributors are ethically committed, rather than contractually bound, to transfer the agreed share of their received amount to the designated cause.

We process data on a limited set of grounds.

Contract and pre-contract steps: to review submissions, publish approved offers, and support direct contact between participants.

Legitimate interests: to keep the platform secure, prevent abuse, moderate content, and respond to safety or dispute issues.

Legal obligations: to keep records when required by law, tax, accounting, or lawful requests from authorities.

Consent: when someone voluntarily sends optional material or submits an optional request that depends on consent.

We keep data only as long as the service needs it.

Account and profile data is kept while the account remains active and for a limited period afterward where necessary for security and record keeping.

Offer and cause submissions are retained while under review, while published, and afterward only as needed for moderation, dispute handling, or legal records.

Messages between participants are retained to operate the inbox, support abuse reporting, and preserve a reliable record of platform interactions.

Server and security logs are retained for a short operational period unless a longer period is needed for incident response or legal obligations.

Participants can ask about, access, correct, or erase their data.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, or receive a portable copy of certain personal data.

You can also ask us to review how a moderation or account decision was made if you believe it was incorrect.

Some requests may be limited where we must retain information for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or to protect other people on the platform.

Nasij aims to work responsibly across regions.

Where personal data is accessed or stored outside your country, we aim to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the applicable law.

For Europe, this includes using contractual and technical safeguards where required for cross-border data transfers.

People may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority in their country of residence.

Questions, corrections, and privacy requests can be sent to us directly.

Use the contact page to ask for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of the data associated with your account or submission.

If you want to close your account or object to a specific use of your data, include enough detail for us to identify the relevant record safely.

We may need to verify identity before disclosing or deleting account-linked information.

We keep data limited to what is needed to organize participation and build trust.

We do not treat participant data as a product. We use it to review submissions, coordinate exchanges, communicate when needed, and support the initiative responsibly. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising profiles, or repurpose it for unrelated secondary uses. This page is a practical summary and should be read together with our cookie policy and participation terms.
